MAYA-Cancer Detection Dog
Our intent:

To assist scientists and physicians with research into the development and implementation of a non-invasive cancer screening method, which is highly accurate, low in false positive and negative rates, low-cost, and finds the disease in the earliest stages.

Cancer Detection Dogs (CDD)

Cancer Detection Dogs (CDD) can smell the minuscule odor of cancer found in a person’s breath, blood or urine samples.

It is important to note, these dogs never come in contact with the patient, only a sample collected from patient. BRMDD will focus primarily on using breath sample be not limited to breath alone. One team of CDDs will be trained for each of the following types, lung, breast and pancreatic cancers.
